Some Like it Live! MaryMonica Music is proud to offer only the cream-of-the-crop in live bands and orchestras, and believe us when we say we've heard them all! Look over the band descriptions, and see what moves you. Then call us for a demo - or two - or more. Having trouble narrowing it down? We know. You're like a kid in a candy store. Have fun!
Interlude
This 8-piece dance orchestra is the hottest, sexiest, and most happening dance
band in Chicagoland! And it's not only because MaryMonica (founder of MaryMonica
Music) is the lead vocalist. They study hard to play hard, and constantly update
their repertoire to bring you the coolest, current dance hits and adult contemporary
pop live. Of course, Interlude carries an extensive list of all the party favorites,
from jazz standards to disco to Motown to eighties. There's even a fantastic
swingin' big band sound, due to its three person horn section! The moment you
hear Interlude, you'll notice their sound is different. They have a secret weapon:
congas and percussion. The music moves you; makes you want to move your hips.
Yeah, it's a Latin thing. Perfect for any event, its musicians are multitalented
and also feature male lead vocals and backups.

Testimonials
"Cory and I cannot express how grateful we are to you and your orchestra.
To this day our guests are still raving about what a fun and exciting night they
all had, not to mention how tired everyone was from dancing all night.
I myself was nervous about the day, hoping the wedding ceremony and reception would be exactly as I had always dreamed. Jeanne singing at the church was a phenomenal suggestion; she brought a stream of tears when she sang Ave Maria. Your orchestra put both my mom and I at ease by handling everything, which made the night easy as a hot knife thru butter.

"We just wanted to let you know that we really appreciate the great job you did

Alan
Gresik's Swing Shift Orchestra
Remember the Big Bands of the 30's and 40's? You may not, but chances are your

live vintage radio commercials performed by actors during the sets. Alan Gresik
has created something superbly unique here. Performing every Thursday night at
Chicago's famous Green Mill Lounge, they keep the joint jumpin'! Alan Gresik's

Inside/Out
Inside/Out's slogan "Music of All Styles for All Occasions" says it all. True to these words, its repertoire includes jazz, Motown, R&B, disco, and contemporary pop. That would be enough said, but consider this: the band is typically 4-6 pieces, so you get great versatility for less dough. That's less bread. However you bake it, it comes out perfectly done. How do they do it, you ask? With state-of the art technology and musicianship, they sound as if they share the stage with a full-size band. You may not see the horn and harpsichord players, but you'll certainly hear them as you dance the night away. Enough said.

On behalf of everyone at Phelan, Pope and John, I would again like to thank you for the outstanding job you and your band did in performing at our Christmas party. The reactions of everyone in attendance were very positive with respect to your performance. As I indicated, we have two firm parties per year (one in the late summer and the second at Christmas). I am certain that we will be contacting you in the future with respect to one or more of those parties.
